BAKRON® is a high density solid surface product that is stain and scratch resistant. However, stains and scratches can occur, and the remedies are as follows:

• For stains, we recommend cleaning with a Scotch-Brite pad and a detergent. For problem stains, an abrasive cleaner may be used, scrubbing it gently.
• For scratches, you may use a fine sandpaper; 320 or 600 grit, using it gently and in a circular motion, with a sanding block.
• Dark colors may require more maintenance

Hot items, such as pots and pans, should not be placed on the BAKRON®, nor should the BAKRON® countertop be used as a cutting board.

BAKRON® is a manufactured product, and like natural marble, granite, etc., varies in shade and color. Other products such as carpet, wallpaper, and vinyl tile vary each time they are manufactured. Manufacturers refer to each "run" as a "dye lot."

Craig Baker Marble Company has a one year limited warranty against defects in workmanship and material on BAKRON®. The warranty date starts upon completion of the installation.
